In April, I attended a plein air workshop in Fayetteville. This painting is one of 3 that I started that weekend. Although the workshop was a huge hit, the weather was certainly not cooperative. Belive it or not, I was the only artist who braved the elements on this day. Winds were blowing upwards of 20 miles per hour as I worked, and my hair looked like one of those troll dolls from the 90's! I wish I had a picture of the work in-progress.
