A weekend trip to Emerald Isle, N.C. inspired this piece. After enjoying all the beautiful sailboats on the sound between the little town of Swansboro and Emerald Isle, I came home and used the composition from a little French poster as inspiration for a vivid piece about the colorful experience of sailing the sound.
