Frequently Asked Questions

Return and Exchange Policy:

I always hope to satisfy each of my clients and collectors. I believe in doing the right thing and the perfectionist in me aims to exceed expectations. For this reason, I handle each sale and commission with as much transparency and clarity as humanly possible. Please take the time to read my listing descriptions carefully and check colors on different screens and monitors if color variation is a concern. I attempt to photograph each painting to capture the most accurate color representation, but realize that colors vary slightly in different settings and in person. Remember that I am not a large corporation with endless resources. I am just one person running a small business to the best of my human abilities!

All sales are final, except for a few situations and a restocking fee may apply.

I want to purchase art, but your work is sold out. When can I expect more paintings from your shop?

I release paintings in collections several times a year. To be the first to know about new releases, join my Studio Insiders and I’ll send you an email for exclusive first-access!

Will you copy a previous painting that already sold?

No, copying a painting a second time often leads to disappointment. It’s also not very much fun for the artist and it takes value away from the original. What I can do is consider a commissioned project using the same style, mood and colors of a previous work of art while recognizing that it will never be an exact duplicate.

Do you take commissions?

Absolutely! I accept a limited number of commissions each year for pieces 16 x 20 inches and larger. At this time I don’t accept frontal portraits or pet portraits, but I love to paint landscapes and abstracts. Each year I also accept a handful of requests for my “backwards family portraits.” Commissioned paintings can take upwards of 12 weeks to complete. How long does it take for a painting to ship to me?

Once purchased, your painting should arrive within a 2-3 week time-frame if you reside in the continental United States. Frequently paintings arrive much quicker. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, or reside in another country, it will likely take longer to ship to you. If you are worried about the time-frame, please contact me before you purchase the painting and we can discuss a rush shipment for an additional charge, or I can get a better time estimate from a local shipping company.

Can I visit your studio?

My studio is only open by appointment. Contact me to make an appointment.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, but please contact me directly with your address and postal code to obtain an accurate shipping quote and allow for extra shipping time.

I’d like to share images of your work, is that alright?

I retain the copyright to all images on this website. If they are shared, they must always be credited to Katie Wall Podracky and linked to my website. You are always welcome and encouraged to share my work on social media as long as you credit me.

I’d like high-resolution images of your work for a project/media placement/advertising/licensing etc. Will you help me?

Absolutely! High resolution images are available with the artist’s permission. Contact me directly for inquires.
