This painting was titled with a fragment of poetry by the author, Robert Frost. The painting shows the beauty of fall foliage near the Blue Ridge Parkway in October. Painted with impressionist brushwork and saturated colors, this painting dances between realism and abstraction.

This piece requires a frame because it was created on un-stretched canvas. You can frame the piece yourself, or I can stretch it and frame it for you and ship it to your door with your choice of a simple float frame in gold, black, white, natural wood or silver. Choose a frame and color at check out if you’d like to add it. My framing service is $300 and shipping in the continental U.S. is included. Framing will add approximately 4-6 weeks for delivery, possibly less.

Framing by the Artist: Cradled Birch Panel Paintings

Cradled panel paintings require custom quotes for framing and shipping. They may also be picked up from the artist’s studio to avoid shipping charges. If you elect to frame the painting with Katie, it will be professionally framed. Framing cradled panel paintings can add 4-6 weeks of lead time to your order, but is frequently completed much faster. Shipping

Paintings ship within two weeks, unless otherwise noted. Paintings picked up at the studio may be picked up much sooner by arranging a time with the artist.

Color

Color varies on each computer screen and is represented as accurately as possible. Please be sure you love the art before you purchase it.

Refunds and Exchanges

Art is not sold “upon approval.” This means that the artist cannot accept a return if it doesn’t match or you change your mind. All sales are final. On the extremely rare occasion that a painting is damaged during shipping, please contact the artist for help.

Editions and Signature

Original paintings are signed by the artist. Prints are open edition with a digital signature unless otherwise noted.
